Injury Update: Wanderson's latest injury at AS Monaco.

Wanderson, the Brazilian forward who joined AS Monaco in January 2019 from Palmeiras, has been sidelined with a hamstring injury for the past two months.

The 26-year-old striker made his debut for Monaco on August 15, 2019, and since then,Campeonato Brasileiro Action he has scored three goals in 14 appearances for the Ligue 1 club. However, he suffered a setback when he was forced to miss the team's match against Nice on October 18 due to the hamstring issue.

After missing the next few matches, Wanderson returned to action on December 7 against Paris Saint-Germain but was again unable to play due to the same injury. He underwent surgery on January 31 and is currently recovering from the operation.

AS Monaco manager Lucien Favre confirmed that Wanderson would be out for "at least six weeks" following the surgery. The striker will undergo further rehabilitation after the recovery period before returning to training.

Wanderson's absence from the team has had a significant impact on Monaco's performance, as the striker provides a strong presence up front and is capable of scoring crucial goals. The team will have to find a way to cope without him while they wait for his return to fitness.
